Drop off:
  • Arrive via Newtown School main entrance.
  • Register child/ren at registration desk.
  • Please inform us at registration if you are happy for your child to walk home unaccompanied.
  • If your child is a non-swimmer please contact us before the camp starts.
Cub Camp
  • Parents of cub camp children to use the astro-turf car park. They will be directed from there to cub camp registration.
Pick-up:
  • Arrive via Newtown School main entrance. Park in designated areas in main car park or astro car park (Cub Camp). Collect children from pick-up point.

Kit for camp: We will be outside, so dress for the weather!

  • NAMED Rucksack to be brought to each activity.
  • NAMED refillable water bottle / healthy lunch and snacks.
  • NAMED rain jacket / runners / wear sports clothing / spare layers / hat.
  • NAMED sun cream (please ensure this is applied in the morning).
  • NAMED hand sanitiser & wipes.
  • Swim suit, hat, towel (floatation aids if required) TUES WED THURS only.

Please DON’T bring phones (if brought to camp they must be kept in bags for emergency only) / gadgets / money / valuables.

Please note photographs may be taken for marketing purposes. If you would prefer your child’s image is not used please let us know.

A Typical Day:

No day on camp are ever the same. Our coaches plan daily schedules based on the weather, the available facilities and the number of children on camp that day. However, each day does follow a similar structure:

    • Morning 10:00am – After signing in we start with a whole camp assembly. Children are then split into age-groups to begin a morning of amazing activities with their coach, split with a break.
    • Lunch 12:10pm – Lunch times are supervised. After eating a healthy packed lunch, there is an opportunity for children to chill-out or play games with friends.
    • Afternoon 12:50pm – Afternoons include whole camp activities or team challenges in house groups.
    • End of Afternoon 15:15pm – At the end of the day coaches award one child from their group ‘Star of the Day’. Coaches also share any notices and remind children to check lost property. Parents can collect from this time. Parents are welcome to watch.
